Goodbyes...

I saw that you'll be leaving soon. I hope I can see you before that. If not, well... Just don't forget me. I won't ever forget you. I understand why you have to leave though. There's another quote (Breakfast at Tiffany's) that says: "This town's finished for me... At least for a while." This place might be finished for you, but don't forget it. You won't learn from your mistakes if you forget them. Anyway, go, live, and be happy. That's all I ever wanted for you. I wanted to make you happy. T...

First Track Meet!

The first track meet of the season was today! It was in St. Maries. We were all expecting the weather to suck, but it was actually not to bad. It rained off and on, but just a five minute sprinkle each time. It was cloudy and windy a lot, but sometimes the wind died down and the sun came out. I medaled (3rd) in 100 meter hurdles and then placed 10th in the 100, 5th in the 400, and 4th in 300s. I had a ton of fun. Track is fun. I always forget that. Oh and by the way, this picture is just here...

Day Eighty-Seven

I really haven't felt like posting anything lately, which is why I'm doing four days' worth in one. I love this quote. Actually, I pretty much love any quote from Les Misérables. I love Les Mis. It's so, SO, SOOOO amazing. This quote is for you. I want you to remember that even if things suck they will get better. They should start getting better soon, since you're starting over. I hope you'll be happy. Remember that you can always talk to me. And sometime, watch Les Misérables and think of me.

Day Eighty-Six

Casablanca. What an amazing movie. It's probably the most famous of the old movies from its era. I love it. It's so good. Sad, but happy, funny, and heartwarming. It's simply wonderful. We should watch it. Well, you should. Since I doubt we'll have time to watch it together. I love this quote from it. They're talking about keeping a good memory although they can't stay together, even though they love each other. Casablanca's amazing, really.

Day Eighty-Five

I still call this my home. I love it so much and I miss it. There's things I like about living here, but it doesn't live up to my old home. Isn't that gorgeous? That was like a two-minute walk from my house. We spent all summer there, swimming every day. It's basically where I learned to swim. I've swum across that river, jumped off that bridge, and sat on the bank for hours. It was wonderful. I miss it.

Day Eighty-Four (Right?)

I'm not really sure why I like this picture. It's just cool I guess. This is a little weird. I'm talking to you on facebook and writing this post to you at the same time. Maybe I should tell you about this thing so you can actually see it. Maybe it would do you some good. Maybe I'll tell you about it when you move. That's a lot of maybes. It'd be weird though, knowing that you might be seeing this. I'm just talking to myself now and pretending I'm talking to you. Now I've confused myself. I'm...

It's Monday!

And we know what that means! Wizard of Oz quote! I have all of my costume now. And we've finished all of our dances, I think. I'm excited for the recital. I wish you weren't leaving so soon. You could come to the one in Tekoa. It's a beautiful theater. Anyway, about the quote. It's a beautiful one, one of my favorites. But I say that about all of them don't I? This one is great though, really. "Now I know I've got a heart because it is breaking." Sad though, huh? It's kind of saying that you ...

Day Eighty-Two

I'm late. I know. (Hey, I think that's a line from Breakfast at Tiffany's. Or close to a line from that movie. But anyway.) We went shopping and I got all sorts of cool stuff. We're leaving for Costa Rica in a week. It still hasn't sunk in. I've got way too much crap to do. This picture is just because. It's a slide inside somebody's house. How cool is that!? I want one! Also, it's just a cool picture. The composition and such. You like photography. You should get what I mean.

Blue Skies and Sunshine...!

Today was so pretty! I loved it! I can't wait for spring and summer and sunshine and warmth all the time! It's going to be so nice! I was going to take a picture and then post that today but I forgot so you get this. It's the scene from The Princess and the Frog where they're singing the song with the line about blue skies and sunshine. Just seemed apt today. Blue skies and sunshine guaranteed!

And again...

Is there such a thing as too much Breakfast at Tiffany's? I don't think so! And so we have another quote from the movie (which I watched last night on my iPod). Holly says this line, and then she and Fred go and do it. It looks so wonderful. I'd do it. Just spend the whole day wandering with someone I love. In a city. Oh it'd be so amazing. Also, someday I'm going to watch this movie curled up with the guy I love.

Thursday!?

"Thursday? Oh no, it can’t be! It’s too gruesome.” I posted this on Facebook today too, but it's so great it has to go here too. I got it from a blog post with the fifty best quotes from Breakfast at Tiffany's. Eventually, a lot of them will end up on here because that's my favorite movie. This one was particularly apt today because it's Thursday! I really would love to get you to watch this movie. It's amazing. I love it.

Day Seventy-Eight

I pretty much slacked off today, but I deserve it, considering how much work I've put into that stupid senior project. We're basically done, all we have to do now is present it. We'll be doing that Wednesday - Friday of next week. I think this photo is of a clock. If it is, I want it. 2nd coolest clock I've ever seen. I'll post a picture of the coolest clock sometime. I just spent like half an hour looked at posts on the Oh My Disney blog. They're hilarious. I love that blog. Okay, enough ram...

Almost Done (hallelujah!)

Well, the senior project is due tomorrow. I'm so ready to be done with it. This giant keyboard picture is in honor of all the typing I've had to do to get this stupid thing done. I really can't wait to be done. It's so close. I don't even care anymore. As long as I get it done and do well enough to graduate. Which shouldn't be hard for me. I'd be so furious if they said that I didn't do good enough.

Day Seventy-Six

So I was browsing around, looking for a picture to post that, preferably, had something to do with what I was planning to write about, which was talking to you. Then I found this in my folder. I love this quote. Love the movie too. You should watch it. I'm pretty sure I've told you that before. Anyway. I loved talking to you. I have missed you. I always wanted to just pick up the phone and text you, but I was afraid to. It's good to know you haven't forgotten me. I think I still love you. I'm...

#Stressed#Out

I swear. This stupid senior project is going to kill me. I'm pretty sure I spent like two-thirds of the time I was awake today on it. And I'm still not done. And it's due Wednesday. ARGH!!!!! I'm so tired. And so irritated. Stupid thing. >:(

Roman Holiday

We watched Roman Holiday last night. It is so good. I love that movie. Except that I wish it had a happy ending. It's not too bad an ending, but it could totally be better. I love it though. It's a wonderful movie. I love Audrey Hepburn. And Gregory Peck is one handsome guy. This image is the last scene of the movie. You should watch this movie. It's amazing!

Friday!!!

Oh my goodness. I am SO SORE!!! Three days of track practice has killed me. I walk like an lady. Stairs are my arch nemesis. So is standing up. And sitting down. And bending over. It rained today so we did Insanity. It was exhausting, but not too bad. I had fun. Anthony and Jess kept me laughing. Those two... They make my track season worth it. We all got ridiculously hot and sweaty. There were a couple of shirtless guys. They look good, but not quite like the guys on Insanity. Maybe they'll ...

Day Seventy-Two

Okay, heh heh, just realized something. The post that was supposed to be for Tuesday, the 11th, Day Seventy, was actually all about Wednesday the 12th. Oops. Just pretend that posts Day Seventy and Day Seventy-One are combined. And that I just didn't do one specifically for actual Day Seventy, that is Tuesday the 11th. Now, to today's (actually Thursday the 13th's) stuff. Our Costa Rica trip is getting closer and closer. We leave in about two and a half weeks. Wow! I'm getting pretty excited...

Day Seventy-One

I think this is a really, really pretty picture. It's today's picture because, for the second day in a row, WE HAD SUNSHINE!!! Oh, how I love the sun. And warmth. I am so ready for spring. Don't get me wrong, I love winter, I love clouds, I love rain, and I LOVE thunderstorms. But now, it's time for sunshine and warm weather, wearing shorts and t-shirts and no jackets, flip flops and sitting outside. Bring on spring!

Day Seventy (but I might be off)

Well, well, well... Track season begins today! I'm actually more excited than I thought I'd be. Practice was a bit rough. We got to go outside though, which was nice. We ran laps for like 16 or so minutes. I think I did about 8, so that's two miles. Then we set stuff up. Donald and I are running hurdles. I like hurdles. I'm glad I'm not the only one doing them this year. I'd love to make it to state and be able to 3 step 100s. Those are my goals for the season. Do I think I'll meet either one...
