Need I say more?
Goofing off with the lovely Ana Mak in front of my car in California. We just finished shooting some gorgeous images at the beach on 1/12/2014. I'll share an image in the next post.
This image almost never came to be. The day before I drove to the O.C. to shoot a test with model Kat Vargas. A few shots into the day my camera broke and after a frustrating call into the Nikon service center we had to cancel the shoot. The next day we drove to Malibu where I made this capture.
Happy holidays to everyone. Here is an image containing the most reprinted newspaper editorial of all time. Published in The New York Sun, 1897
You replay this scene over and over, the moment you saw her and no matter how hard you you've forgotten the color of her eyes.
She would have been unlike anyone else. She's slim. Delicate, with an iron will. You look at her from all angles. You look at her. You keep looking. Then you step back. Her eyes are brown like the girl in the song. This morning they are a little weary. You tell yourself that it doesn't matter. Weary or alert. You tell yourself that only this moment matters, this one capture. To you it means everything and to the world it means nothing.
Here's an Android capture of one of my favorite models, Terra Jo wearing a Voltaire t-shirt featuring: Terra Jo. I love the longing gaze in her eyes.
This one from Ania Spiering "Dear Robert, Your work makes me want to dream, to love, to be beautiful, to smoke a cigarette, be passionate, dirty, to start my period, to be clean, messy, violent, sexy, wasted, glamorous, high, nude, clothed, open, daring, sick aggressive, and basically makes me want to live. THANK YOU. With much love and deep true appreciation. Always, Ania
Woke up to a great message from Lloyd Klein re: our shoot yesterday. He's overjoyed with the pics. Makes me happy and makes my job fun. So easy to shoot with him. I just pick up the camera and push the button.
I couldn't help but take a quick snap of makeup artist Jeremy Austin today. Jeremy had just finished Lloyd Klein's makeup and I saw the light and grabbed this shot. This was taken on Lloyd's kitchen table.

Here's a teaser image of one of my favorite models to work with Tatyana Danilchenko. We shot this series at the beach mostly in Lloyd Klein Couture. However, in this image Tatyana is wearing a simple white bedsheet.
Very pleased to let you know I just got off a text chat with Julia L. and we will be shooting in the very near future. I will have some more pics of this stunning Guess? model for you soon.
